W002 → Le Monde ou Rien
Le Monde ou Rien encapsulates a period of profound self-exploration, observed through an uneducated lens that beautifully simplifies the complexities of our world. Over two years, this project has been an exercise in capturing and objectifying fleeting moments, turning them into possessions of time and memory. The outcome is a compelling series of five images, each limited to five prints sized 80x100cm, meticulously crafted with archival ink on cotton rag paper. Accompanying these images is a video narrative, which eloquently threads together these captured instances into a visual atlas. This atlas is unique, focusing not on specific locations, but on the universal experience of the passing of time and the subjective interpretation of our surroundings. 'Le Monde ou Rien' invites viewers to a laissez-faire contemplation, a drift through spaces and moments that are both ordinary and extraordinary, where every frame is a testament to the alchemy of photography—transforming reality into a tangible, possessive form.
